Six ans après Jet Plane and Oxbow, le songwriter texan Jonathan Meiburg et son groupe Shearwater viennent d’annoncer la parution de leur huitième album, The Great Awakening, qui sortira le 10 juin via leur propre label Polyborus. Le disque contient onze titres et a été coproduits avec Dan Duszynski (Loma). Le premier single, intitulé “Xenarthran”, vient d’être dévoilé, ci-dessous.
