Le label indé phare de Seattle annonce la sortie du nouvel album des apocalyptiques Kinski et dans un registre plus doux, le retour des folky Fruitbats.

Deux ans après le tonitruant Airs Above The Station, le troisième album du combo sonique kinski s’intitule Alpine Static et sera dans les bacs dès le 12 juillet. Le disque a été enregistré à Seattle courant janvier et février 2005 par Randall Dunn (Eevind Kang, John Zorn). Quant au groupe mené par Eric Jonhson et sa bande, le digne successeur de Mouthfuls, Spelled in Bones, suivra deux semaine plus tard.
