Après les dessins/poèmes salaces d’I Can Hear Your Heart parus en février dernier, l’ex Arab Strap, retournera à la chanson à la rentrée 2009 avec un nouveau projet solo, How To Get To Heaven From Scotland. Entouré de son side band, The Best-Ofs – constitué de Stevie Jones (Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan) et Alun Woodward (ex-Delgados / Lord Cut-Glass) – l’album a été enregistré simultanément pendant I Can Hear Your Heart. Une édition deluxe sortira avec un Ep bonus contenant deux reprises : Sonny and Cher’s « I Got You Babe » et Glen Campbell « Love Is Not a Game » ainsi que quatre versions alternatives de morceaux de l’album, et une «bonus jam». Romantique indécrottable, l’album paraîtra le jour de la St Valentin, le 14 février.
