L’imprévisible songwriter Richard Swift qui nous avait gratifié d’une série de EPs complètement barrés l’année dernière, revient au format long. Son troisième LP, Atlantic Ocean, est décrit comme son album le plus « dansant ». L’opus a été enregistré à Chicago avec l’ingénieur du son très prisé Chris Colbert (The Walkmen) le multi-instrumentiste Casey Foubert (Sufjan Stevens, Crystal Skulls) ainsi qu’une horde d’amis. Le titre « Ballad of Old What’s His Name » bénéficie du support de Mark Ronson, Ryan Adams, Sean Lennon et Pat Sansone (Wilco). En attendant sa sortie dans les bacs le 7 avril, on écoute « Lady Luck« .
