Après avoir produit l’un des plus intrigants manifestes à guitare l’année dernière – en l’occurrence l’inusable Public Strain de ses potes Women – le Canadien Chad VanGaalen sortira son 4e album solo, le 17 mai prochain. Décrit comme son opus le plus rock à ce jour, Diaper Island , c’est son nom, a été bricolé dans son fidèle bunker studio de Calgary avec les moyens du bord (guitare vintage, ampli garage et boite à rythme poussiéreuse). C’est Robert Pollard qui va être content !
