Trois après la disparition du cultissime songwriter de Big Star, le label américain Bar None exhume un enregistrement inédit. Intitulé Electricity by Candlelight, la galette immortalise un concert donné en février 1997 à New York, au légendaire club d’East Village The Knitting Factory. Un set en mode trio acoustique, constitué de reprises classiques country/folk, pour beaucoup inédites. L’album paraîtra le 21 octobre. En extrait ci-dessous sur soundcloud, de superbe versions d' »I Walk The Line » de Johnny Cash ou encore « Wouldn’t it Be Nice » des garçons de la plage.
