Cinq ans après Rituals, la formation pop-folk cinégénique emmenée par l’Américain Jesse Tabish annonce enfin son quatrième album, For Their Love, qui sortira le 24 avril chez ATO Records. Le disque contient dix compositions produites par le groupe (tracklist ci-dessous), soit Tabish (piano, guitare, chant), Jonathon Mooney (piano, violon, guitare, percussions, trompette), Josh Onstott (basse, claviers, percussion, guitare et choeurs) ainsi que le batteur Danny Reisch.

« Lost Day » hypnotique est le premier extrait tiré de l’album. Le clip a été filmé dans le studios A-frame cabin (et qui figure aussi sur la pochette de l’album), chalet situé dans les montagnes de l’Etat de l’Oregon, Cooper Mountain, où vit Tabish avec sa femme Kim, qui a également contribué aux vocaux de l’album.

Toujours motivé par le thème de l’introspection au sens large, Jesses Tabish décrit l’album ainsi : “The album is a record reflecting human feeling in the current state of affairs — economy and politics on the individual, while the latter still has to deal with the basic struggles of finding meaning of their existence”. “Money, love, and death are always real and hard to cope with: what does the individual choose to make these larger themes of life easier to deal with? The record speaks in realness, questions, observing, lamenting and hopefully finding the slightest of hope in themselves, these characters sometimes venturing out into spiritual, religious or institutionalized endeavors. In my personal hope, only finding their self-worth is more important than anything that has been taught or preached to them.”
