Après la belle réédition voilà deux ans de son premier album sur le label Earth Recordings, le folksinger maudit Jackson C. Frank (décédé en 1999) fait de nouveau l’actualité via la parution le 8 août prochain d’un superbe coffret couvrant l’intégralité de sa discographie, complété d’inédits.

Si le protégé de Paul Simon dans les années 60, a déjà fait l’objet de nombreuses rééditions ”” notamment celle chez Sanctuary en 2003 qui incluait 33 morceaux inédits – l’auteur de « Blues Run the Game », n’avait pas encore dévoilé tous ses secrets. Cette nouvelle réédition 3xCD/6xLP supervisée par Ba Da Bing Records inclue 24 nouvelles chansons ainsi que des Peel Sessions, en plus de l’intégralité de sa discographie officielle (un seul album il est vrai, plus un EP) complètement remasterisé. Pour l’heure, deux incroyables inédits enregistrés en 1970, “China Blue” et “Juliette”, sont en écoute ci-dessous. Tracklisting du coffret est dispo un peu plus bas.
