Calexico, en tournée actuellement avec Iron & Wine, annonce la mise en vente via son site d’un nouvel album pour les impatients. L’album, intitulé The Book and The Canal, comporte de nouveaux enregistremnts studio, des titres lo-fi et enfin des titres captés live. Le nouvel album srudio est quant à lui annoncé pour le printemps 2006.
