Après avoir réédité l’année dernière dans deux superbes coffrets les derniers albums solo du guitariste Bert Jansch (1943-2011) et réhabilité le merveilleux Avocet (1978),  le label Earth Record se concentre maintenant sur ses premiers albums solo sixties et seventies , avec deux coffrets annoncés pour janvier et février prochain. Intitulés A Man I’d Rather Be (Part 1) et (Part II), le premier, qui paraîtra la 26 janvier, réunit les albums Bert Jansch (1965), It Don’t Bother Me (1965), Jack Orion (1966), et Bert And John (1966), avec un livret complété des notes écrites par le légendaire producteur Bill Leader.

Le deuxième, qui sortira ensuite le 23 février, comprend les albums Nicola (1967), Birthday Blues (1969), Rosemary Lane (1971) et Moonshine (1973) avec cette fois des notes de Dave Henderson, (contributeur du magazine Mojo).
